How The Rankings Work.... All players will receive points for each round of elimination play as follows: A Draw:
B draw:
Note: Double points will be awarded for the Grand Slam Events. Points and seedings apply to the Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and TEAM Tennis categories, independently. In TEAM Tennis the TEAM is awarded points as a group AND the individuals each receive points. For the TEAM (as a whole) to continue to receive ranking points at least 2 of the original four players must be a part of that same TEAM in future events, however, individuals will still receive their points regardless.
There will be both "Tour" Winners and "Tour Championships" Winners at the end of the 2007/ 2008 Tour Season. Rankings and the Championships: Your total points of your best 3 Tour Stops (MD, WD, TEAM) and your best 4 Tour Stops (MXD) will determine your seeding for the Championships, and will be added to your partner's and other TEAM members total points to determine your team's "seeding" for the Championships. Tour Winners: Will be those individuals with the highest total number of points at the end of the season. The number one person in each division will win the Year End Trophies.
