| What a Great Time for All.... NOW a Regular Event on the 2006 Tour! On February 25th, at Mayfair Lakeshore, 48 players took part in the Tour's first ever TEAM Tennis Event. |

 | Each team had four players: Two Guys and Two Gals. Matches included one set to 5 games in each of the following categories: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Each game won counted as a point for their team. Winner determined by the highest number of points. |
| Talking strategy with their team and determining which players played in which category and even the order of the sets ... was key. |

 | Teams loved the on-court coaching and side line cheering... A very high energy crowd! |
| Players had to remember the subtle differences in TEAM Tennis like... Playing let serves, No-ad scoring and 5 point tie-breakers at 4-4... just to name a few. | 
|
| It was great to see the players get into the TEAM Spirit... Wearing matches outfits and coming up with some great Team names like: "I Am Canadian"
"The Fantastic Four"
"North York Net Heads"
and
"Foghorn, Leghorn and the Amazing Chicken Hawks".... don't ask! |
| Thanks to Robbie Husain who led the the HEAD "Skills and Drills" Clinic.. |

 | Nearly everyone took part... warming up their strokes for the elimination round. |
| The matches were great to watch... lots of cheering and support came from the teams and the crowd! (What a great shot!) |

| But all good things must come to an end, and did, with a super Finals Match featuring... "Husain's Big Hitters" consisting of: Rob, Natasha, Steve and Alexandra taking the win over "Foghorn, Leghorn and the Amazing, Chicken Hawks" including: Scott, Kelly, Bryan and Marcela in a great match - 19 points
to 15 points. Congrats to everyone! |  |
