To wrap up the day... the Women's 'A' Final was won by Deb and Joanne, in a close match against Robyn and Marcela, 8-6.

Bob and Stuart played Stratford locals John and Mike, in a great match to take the
Men's 'B' title 8-5

As always a huge thanks to Bill and all of the staff and members of the Stratford Tennis Club for making everyone feel so welcome and hosting a great event!

We look forward to the Mixed Doubles on August 5th and the NEW TEAM Tennis on August 6th!

Stratford's coldest day on record, for June, did not chill the enthusiasm for the over 50 players entered in this event.

Deb and Joanne played their top game the whole day... straight to the finals!

In addition to the tennis lots of great activities took place including the Silent Auction and the launch of the new 2006 Tour Gear.

The Women's 'A' consolation round saw Olive and new partner Joan take out Sandy and Edith, 8-2

And lastly Matt was thrilled to win his first Men's 'A' title ever... Partnering with Milan they took on Alex and Eddie in a high energy match winning 8-3 in the end
